Car Parking

The Castlefield Hotel has an on site, illuminated, fenced car park for 54 cars.
Hotels with parking in Manchester city centre can often be hard to find. At the Castlefield Hotel, however, there is an on-site car park with more car parking spaces than there are hotel rooms!
Entrance to the car park is located on Potato Wharf which runs along the rear of the hotel directly off of Liverpool Road and is clearly signed.
Automatic folding gates allow access and egress from he car park.
Simply-
- drive up to the access gate & take a ticket
-the gate will open allowing you to enter & find a parking space.
-use the ticket to open the canalside gate allowing access to the towpath . Turn left and enter the hotel either through the Y club entrance or up the external steps to the main entrance
-when checking in present your ticket to reception. On payment this can then be validated for the length of your stay (£10.00 overnight per 24 hours -£6.00 for a day or part of)
To re -enter the car park you will need your validated (paid for) ticket.
When leaving
-insert your ticket into the bar code reader by the towpath gate and enter the car park
-drive your car to the exit gate
insert your ticket and the folding gates will open allowing you onto Potato Wharf
The 54 spaces are shared with the Y club-the hotel's leisure club. 2 of the spaces are designated for disabled guests & located close to the canalside entrance gate which is the shortest route to access the hotel.
An overnight charge of £10.00 each night is charged for use of the car park.On street meter parking is available outside the hotel.
Spaces for conference and meeting delegates are charged at £7.00 per day, (8am-6pm), but are subject to availabilty.
Please contact us at the time of making your reservation if you have any questions about our parking facilities.
Occasionally, at peak times, the car park maybe full on your arrival but there is a fast turnover and you should not be kept waiting for long, so please stay with your car until spaces become available.
Spaces cannot be reserved.
TOP TIP- when coming from the car park enter through the canalside Y club entrance rather than the longer way round up the outside stair
